Thanksgiving Day.

is a holiday celebrated in the United States and Canada, observed as a day of gratitude, usually to God, the good events during the year. On this day, people give thanks with feasting and prayer.
The first was held in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the settlers who founded the village in 1620.After bad harvests and a harsh winter, the colonists had a good corn harvest in the summer of 1621. By order of the governor of the town, in honor of this achievement compared to previous years, a festival was scheduled in early fall of 1621. The men of Plymouth killedducks and turkeys. Other foods that were part of the menu were fish and corn. About ninetyIndians also participated in the festival. Everyone ate outdoors at large tables.
Brazil
